Here is a space for you to share your own specialist interests and how you hope to contribute to the Wiki project. Say as much as you like!
As a medical statistician and researcher in education, I have a general interest in improving the application and understanding of health measurement scales in clinical contexts and in particular, in highlighting the importance of evaluating the utility of these scales across a range of study populations. In addition to leading and contributing to Paul’s project, above, I am keen to collaborate with new contributors who have an interest in using the Wiki to improve clinical practice and to enhance medical education. I have also made substantial changes to the original Wiki content in order to prepare it for dissemination and align it with the content of published work in relation to the above project. – Margaret MacDougall
My interest lies in the area of cardiovascular primary prediction scales. I have assembled prospective validation studies through a structured literature search to provide cardiologists, students and academics with an overview of the literature available in this area. The focus is to present information as concisely and clearly as possible with the use of links, tables and definitions.- Paul Liu
